Thank you for confirming that only with Poweroff it did NOT work.will this file works with 5600X, or do i need to change any thing? i am quite new with bios mod, so i just want to be sure.
and i attached no graphic or lan card in either of pcie slots. with stock L2.11 (complete power off)
output wasCode:sudo dmidecode -t memory | grep -i 'error correction'
Code:Error Correction Type: None
It shouldn't Matter, it's still a CPU in the 5000 Series
Make sure you
cd
into the SSP
Folder though (or only extract the SSP
Folder and copy it onto your USB Flashdrive).I also saved the other ones in other Folders "just in Case" it didn't work, since it's a PITA to go up & down in 8 Files to find the correct
VarOffset
Values.Prepare an EFI Shell boot Drive using the Outlined Procedure here, since this **** Motherboard doesn't have a built-in EFI Shell: GitHub - luckylinux/aspm-troubleshooting: aspm-troubleshooting
I tried to upload an Archive for EFI Shell but it's too big and will NOT be accepted here.
EDIT 1: Yes, I can confirm that L2.09 and L2.11 are EXACTLY the same VarOffset Value for these 3 Settings. Which I guess makes sense if you don't want to clear CMOS every Time you update BIOS ...
