Hello server experts !
I'm currently trying to upgrade my 2Gb Fibre Channel backbone & components with something more beefy.
I would like to have feedback from those of you who tested the LSI SAS Switch (LSI 6160) which is an affordable hi-bandwith switch, and perhaps some of you did test.
Most important, This kind of switch would (as described by LSI) allow to transform DAS racks (like the 2 Dell MD1000 I currently run) to shared units. It seems too good to be true so every bit of info would be of interest.
Thanks,
Fred
