Why were you going to sell it?
For me, my only issue i have is that I can't run 3.7 all cores (Due to power limits, max tdp for the 7713 is 240w, my current cooling is extreme overkill). It will run 3.7 all cores if I turn off half the processor. And one last kicker, just picked up 2 intel P4500...
Everyone is going to get a kick out of this. I have MZ32-AR0 Rev.1 with Epyc 7713. I am able to run 4 sticks of Samsung 64gb RDIMM (with a speed rating of 3200) and 4 sticks of Samsung 64gb LRDIMM (rated at 2400) together. Everything runs at the lowest speed of 2400 without any issues. I saw it...
With that said, I have a Epyc 7713 with the MZ32-AR0 Rev. 1 with latest bios. How are you cooling it? Also, can you run cinebench multi-core test and see what you max boost freq is in HWinfo for all cores enabled. Just looking for comparison.
Just a note, you can see my build here...
When you put in an offer, if the seller has an auto-accept amount tag to it and you meet that stipulation, you offer gets automatically accepted. You just have to put in the right amount. I tried $90 at first and was immediately denied. I remember someone earlier in the thread said auto-accepted...
I have the 7250-24P, i really don't need a second one but couldn't resist. Will be moving later this year and it's my mission to have solar (SDGE Southern Cali rate is $0.48 per kilawatt hour). It auto-accepted at 95.50 for me and was 120 with tax.
Posting this here just in case anyone needs to know.
I originally was using a Mellanox ConnectX-3 10Gigabit dual port MCX354A card
with an adapter to convert the QSFP+ ports to a SFP+ ports. Go to the following for info.
Using a 40GbE (QSFP+) NIC with a 10GbE Switch (SFP+)
Then I used Direct...
Worst case scenario, re-seat the CPU. For Epyc, saw peeps get rid of some issues re-seating. Sometimes not enough pressure being applied by the heatsink or not enough thermal grease.
I been watercooling for 18+ years now. My first radiators was modified Bonneville heater cores. I never had a pump die on me, but Zen microarchitecture has been pretty good with shutting down when a failure did happen. I had hard tubes melt on me due to high temps over a long period of time...
Setting TDP to 280W from auto allows the cpu/board to exceed TDP. 64 core full use hits 250w. Just realized later own had to cool the VRM to allow higher TDP.
I picked up the following at the beginning of December:
Processor: AMD Epyc 7713 64 core
Motherboard: Gigabyte MZ32-ar0 ver.1 (I bought Epyc 7251 to test and flash the motherboard to work 7003 CPUs.)
Memory 256gb Samsung DDR4 3200 ECC mem (4x64gb)
On the bench everything tested okay, was able...
Was able to get the last one. offered $110 with $65 shipping. Now just looking for a motherboard that can take my Xeon e3 1245v5 and fit in this case for a plex/nas server. Any ideas? Or should i find an 8 core quicksync processor.
I know it's probably overkill, but i use Intel Xeon E3-1265LV3 2.5 GHz Quad-Core (CM8064601467406) Processor SR15A (cut and paste from ebay).
My active power usage with PFsense and using the only one 10gig port for the cablemodem and a Mellanox ConnectX-3 with 10GBase-SR SFP+ Transceiver going...
