I bought some Samsung 840 Pros from 'drivesupply' that advertised less than 10 hrs and when I received it and ran them through Crystaldiskinfo, they all were beat up for 2 years in a datacenter. Very high write cycles and yes average 2 years or more power on usage. But still they were advertised as 10 hrs or less and the seller sold quiet a lot of these drives.

I won't buy any used SSD unless they post the output of the SMART data fields. It makes a huge difference to the dollar value in my books.

It sounds like maybe they test one or two of the least-used ones and the rest are in unknown condition.
