Please don't forget you need 4 RAM modules for each CPU to get 100% performance.
2 RAM modules per CPU will work too, but performance will be 50% only.
Hello to all,
Need advice on RAM speed on Supermicro X10DRL-i and Xeon E5-2650 V3 QFSB.
RAM is DDR4-2133 ECC 4GB x 4pcs.
But it runs as DDR4-1867 only, no difference if configured as 2133, 2200 or "Auto" in bios (2.00).
Is it possible that RAM actually NOT 2133 (counterfeit) ?
Please see...
Thank you for your comment.
Just let me clarify what looks strange for me... :)
At Hwtrade's lot we can see:
CPU-Z at picture 2 shows 12-25 multiplier,
CPU-Z at picture 3 shows 12-23 multiplier.
Nice to meet you all,
Have read all 30 pages twice :)
I see two E5-2650 V3 2.1GHz Stepping 2 processors on ebay, from hwtrade and from extremicro:
CPU-Z shows 12-23 multipliers for first of them (extremicro) and 12-25 for second (hwtrade)
Will I benefit from buying with 12-25 multiplier...
