What are you going to do with so many of them? Are they all for home?I ordered 2x 10 packs.
<$20 each is a fantastic deal for this DOM.
Looking at 'fleabay, sellers are asking $85/90 for the SM version.

I wonder if I can get him to break the pack?
Quick question, can anyone confirm that this doesn't need powa? It can get its power from the SATA port alone?
Well, the X9 mobos have a connector on board for a power cable, usually only one though. But I have seen 2 on some. You could check your mobo manual for one, usually it's called "DOM Power" or "SATADOM Power" in the board reference when you're looking at a diagram.Ah, ok got it. Darn. My x8 test bench wont work. Ok I can prob grab a cheap 64 gb ssd for $10 bucks or something.
Thanks!
Just checked an X8DTH-6F, it has JWF1 connector on board which is for SATADOM power.Ah, ok got it. Darn. My x8 test bench wont work. Ok I can prob grab a cheap 64 gb ssd for $10 bucks or something.

This drive is configured as a boot device on a dedicated controller that is separate from the main data drives.
NOTE: SATADOM is not recommended as a general purpose boot device.
