I was using this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CJ44XZM/. Tried it both ways but no luck. Built tons of computers, but never had this problem. Is your front panel connector plugged in backwards? Try swapping it around. The FPIO connector is like this:
. _ . . . . . . . . . .
. _ . . . . . . . . . .
The FP connector only plugs into the pins colored in red.
Mobo and hsfs only. I use those 2603s for testing before I buy more expensive cpu.Did it come with the processors or have those already? Good deal nevertheless.
Just in time I think, they're OOS again now! Thanks for posting. Managed to get one.
I suspect mostly file serving duties. It lends itself readily to this with the onboard LSI SAS.Managed to get one as well. What are folks doing with this board?
Mine came with 3.0a bios, which according to SM supports v2. I do not have any V2 procs to test with however.has anyone test this board with a V2 cpu yet. Board revision is only 1.02 so i wonder if it will accept a bios update which will run a v2 cpu with such an early board revision. some supermicro boards will not.
