well, available in this commit at least:

    Direct IO support · zfsonlinux/zfs@a584ef2

this has been a long time coming... first requested back in 2011. just thought anyone who's been waiting on this would like to know... finally...

this should allow ZFS to work better with oVirt and not throw error when DirectIO is requested.

And should solve performance issues that xcp-ng folks are having...And a general io speed up for lxd containers on zfs....As well as.........<insert name of anything running on zfs>

    Bring on the O_DIRECT

I hear zfs encryption is in the 0.8rc stream as well (sending encrypted snapshots...yeah).

Just tested, still bad sync write performance :(
Performance wise I'm still better off using FreeBSD as network storage for my Linux installations.
