ZEC is doing really well. Up to over $314 now.

According to this Zcash Mining on NVIDIA Pascal GPUs: We Benchmark and Compare ZEC was $104 on May 20. June 10 is 3 weeks later and 3x the price. Wow

ZEC mining profitability very often not as good as other coins. But it's still anomaly high. In previous years average profit was about 1-1.5$/day per middle-high end video card
Just don't forget about growing net hashrate and difficulty and compare to growing coin price

I actually started to mine ZEC on minergate way back in Feb until I bailed because the few dollars I had in my wallet went missing, then there was the Zcash Hack where someone made about $500,000 worth of zcash coins and ever since I have been kind of leary.

The prices now kind of make me regret that decision.

My missing zcash may have been user error tho. It was less than $12.00 worth so not a big loss.

Yeah, I was dumb and move ~200 USD from zec to btc the other day, thinking it would be more stable. :-(

I bought some around $200. At $284 it's still an amazing return but losing 25% in like 2 days is freaky.

Is there interest in a benchmark thread similar to Monero?

NVIDIA GPUs here: Zcash Mining on NVIDIA Pascal GPUs: We Benchmark and Compare would be nice to add in AMD cards.

I held 2.02 Zcash coins and was going to convert it to BTC. Fortunately I was a bit lazy and not sure that's a right thing to do. SO on that day I sold them @ USD 361 per coin. Not a bad (lazy) decision!
