Hi All,

I have a new (to me) home lab box with the X9DR3 (C606 chipset). I initially installed Hyper-V 2016 with GPT but I cannot get the system to self boot into the OS.

I can manually (F11) choose my boot device each time and select "Windows Boot Manager" and it boots just fine.

In the BIOS Boot Priority screen, there is no option to select "Windows Boot Manager". Best I can do is disable all boot priority options then it will boot into the EFI shell. I can manually select the boot efi and it will boot from there as well.

Anyone else run into this problem where they cannot get this MB/bios to prioritize an UEFI "Windows Boot Manager" boot by default?

Other workarounds suggested? just go with MBR?

Thank you,
