Surprised to see that while E5-2670V3 has 120W TDP [1], the E5-2673V30 OEM version (with higher clock 2.4Ghz) is listed as having a TDP of 105W, i.e a 15W difference.
I understand it as they must have optimized the 2673V3 for the OEMs?

one thing i want to mention.

maybe there is a chance that the Mainboards are already activated for Supermicro Out of Band License.

i think they are MAC address bounded , so you maybe check it under :

@TechTrend I've been eyeballing the E5-2683 v3s. For some reason there seems to be a glut of them on eBay that are apparently OEM.

Not sure I believe that or not but if they are legit they kind of seem like they may be 2670s of the v3s.

I've been running a couple of E5-2683 v3 from ebay for the last 5 months. They had a few scratches and dents, but as far as I can tell they are OEM and have performed real well.
