I assume shipping & VAT to EU from US will be a deal breaker. New set from Newegg go on sale for 65-75 here in US.

Yeah. I can get them for 70 to 80 new here as well, but for a 40 bucks (great deal) chassis that just doesn't feel right
Makes me wonder what happens will all the old rails when they de-rack a box...

Same problem here.
So did a little research an found out that the inner rail MCP-290-00115-0N wich is a part of MCP-290-00053-0N is also used in these Rails MCP-290-00057-0N, MCP-290-00059-0B. So they should fit the SC826 case. I think the only difference between outer rails is that they are designed to deal with the weight of 4u-5u cases.
There is a deal for ten MCP-290-00057-0N available in Netherlands witch gets in range of 40-50 Euro per piece with shipping.

My rack is too deep for the 57's so need 53's.

But just got an offer for €50 ea for the 53's, I was going to ask for free shipping for multiple but I could also ask for additional rebate if we get greater demand.
Otoh, free shipping might be better depending on the amount of rails one needs

hmm specs at supermicro estore say 53's and 57's are both extendable up to 36.4". Perhaps you mean 58's they are only extendable up to 27”.

Hm makes me wonder what the difference between the 53 and 57s is in reality - 4-5HE vs 2-3 HE, but look similar..
