If OP doesn't want it since it's non-ecc, I would be interested in it for some old stuff I have that can use it.
Hi Zac, that would appear to be the wee beasty I need, do you have a matched pair?
Exactly 2 pulled from Supermicro systems.Hi Zac, that would appear to be the wee beasty I need, do you have a matched pair?
^^^^i doubt if you get 16gb sodimm they will work with the intel CPU inside.
this gen is limited to 4GB per rank, a 8GB SODIMM will have 2 ranks.
a 16GB SODIMM must have 4 ranks to work.
AMDs are well know for support of 8GB per rank. maybe you remember the cheap DDR3 8GB DIMMs marked with "AMD only"
Sometimes the 'supported x' specs are because stuff was just not available, so you could try it if you have them.^^^^
These were limited to 32GB per proc and 8GB per module. I was looking for the wrong RAM. Figured I should update with my bad.
C2000 SoCs support 16 GB DIMMs, though the need for them to be UDIMMs made them ridiculously expensive and rare. There was a single company behind those, IIRC they effectively had pseudo-LRDIMMs that felt like UDIMMs to the memory controller.i doubt if you get 16gb sodimm they will work with the intel CPU inside.
