Wow, yeah, that *was* cheap. Wish we had deals like that in the UK, I'd be finishing my storage server build.

What is the yellow slot? Doesn't seem to line up with PCI or PCIe...

Yeah that was a gem although I do wonder if two of those slots must have been wired to sata ports on the board and 8 coming from the LSI sas2308. Odd reverse breakout or a mess of sata connects to the LSI as well, shame a minisas 8087 in that generation of mobo was easy/best option to keep 'cable clutter' down.

EDIT: Funny the SM manual say 'In addition to these six SATA ports, eight 3Gb/s SAS connections (Serial-Attached SCSI) are also located on the motherboard'

That cant be right if it's a LSI 2308 but who am I to argue...misleading is all.
