No longer needed - I got 4 * Dell-branded 400GB Sandisk Lightning II Ascend SAS drives, essentially new (Mfg. in April 2016, only a few hundred hours on them, no errors). As a bonus, they came in Dell carriers with the correct labels saying what they were, and with the firmware already updated to the latest.
I am looking for some Dell-branded SAS SSDs (that will be recognized as Dell-branded by a PERC H700 controller, so no Compellent, etc. drives). I'm flexible on SLC/MLC, manufacturer*, and capacity, as long as there are enough identical drives to end up with at least 400GB.
* I would prefer to not use Pliant drives as they (at least the Dell ones) have an annoying firmware bug that causes smartctl to report ever-increasing "non-medium errors".
