While it looks like the price on them has gone up, but I have 32xST91000640NS, of the Dell WF12F that have been spinning in my lab since July and I am very happy with them.I'm looking to find some (4-6, depending on price) NAS or Enterprise grade hard drives, at 1TB or greater, in the 2.5" variety. Does anyone have anything to sell or recommendations on what drives I should look for? I'm not a big fan of Seagate. Thank you!
I have heard good things regarding their enterprise drives, but with how many people have gotten burned with their consumer drives, as well as how they handle their consumer drives issues, I try to pass on them, but thanks for the info, I'll check them out. While it looks like the price on them has gone up, but I have 32xST91000640NS, of the Dell WF12F that have been spinning in my lab since July and I am very happy with them.
I paid $45 each for them. Unfortunately for you in addition to the price increase since I bought them, they are also seagates.
SAS or SATA is fine. What're the makes/models of the drives you have, and what're you looking to get for them?Preference for SAS vs SATA? I have some 900GB & 1.2TB SAS drives in qty.
