I have a C6100 with 24x2.5" drive bays. I need one LSI 1068E mezz card with bracket, riser & cables for 6-drives (not the 3-drive cable).

Thanks!

I have a C6100 with 24x2.5" drive bays. Problem is, I have a bunch of SAS drives lying around but no SATA drives. Therefore, I need a 1068e mezz card with bracket, cables, etc for CHEAP. If it's too much $$ I might as well just go on eBay and make offers on cheap SATA drives.

Thanks!
If you can't find one for a price you like, another option is to use a PCIe card like the IBM M1015 plus a breakout cable. Those cards are still fairly cheap, are much faster than the 1068e mezzanine cards, and don't require special mounting brackets can be very tricky to locate.

Also, there are three good reasons to go with a SAS mezzanine or PCIe card:
1) The ability to use SAS drives
2) The ability to use 6G SATA SSD drives (though the 1068E card is 3G only)
3) Overcoming the ~700MB/s total throughput limitation on the c6100 motherboard ports.

dba I forgot to mention, the PCI-E slot is in use (by an external SAS HBA connected to a JBOD expander)

Go for the LSISAS2008 version if you can afford it - much faster, better compatibility (e.g. with expanders), works with 3TB and 4TB drives.
