It sure seams strange that Microsoft supports the Samsung 970 Pro SSD on the Windows Server 2019 but not on the Windows Server 2016. Have I missed some type of announcement from Microsoft that the server 2016 will be replaced by the 2019 server soon?
The OS does not see the drive at all. I checked in the Device Manager and it is not even listed. However if I boot Windows Server 2019 or Windows 10 on the same computer, both of these systems show the drive in the Device Manager.
