Which SAS cable to use?

I do not have much experience with SAS cables and do not know which one to buy....

Which cable shall I use to connect my X10SRH-CLN4F motherboard to the SAS backplane in my SC743 chassis? My motherboard has 2 SAS 12Gbs connections.

Will this one work? Supermicro Internal MiniSAS HD SFF-8643 to 4 SATA 20/20/20/20cm with Sideband 20cm Cable (CBL-SAST-0664)

The Backplane is a TQ backplane so you need 8 sata connections. Your cable choice should work. Look at page 64 of the chassis manual. It gives you the Layout for the Backplane.

Yes I will need two cables for the 8 sata connections. Will order two CBL-SAST-0664.
