I run FreeNAS on a C6100 node. I go way overkill with CPU and 24GB of ECC RAM, but I also use (read: abuse) the FreeNAS server plugins. Crashplan and Plex are used daily, but I also have OwnCloud, Transmission, CouthPotato... the list goes on. I like the set-up and the management has been really easy with updates, drive replacement (expansion and failures), and the controls for file access.

I'd run FreeNAS again if there was an easy way of getting MySQL running on it. The developers don't seem to be able to grasp the concept of running MySQL on a home NAS. I find it immensely useful with library sync in XBMC.
@he'll driver... been running msql, webserver, couch potato,sick beard and sabnzbd, next to my VMware store pretty happy now for more than a year (uptime) on omnios and nappit..
