I've got some Engineering Samples i'd like to try out and I'd prefer to trade for an Ice Lake motherboard than have to pay for something that may not work with an ES CPU. For trade I have an Intel 7.68TB SSD. Only an hour or so of use just to confirm it worked.

what kind of ES ? there are good LGA4189 ES and mid ES and the to throw away's.
for the good(stepping D0) you can use any LGA4189 motherboard, including supermicro.

Hard to tell since I can't boot it and the heat spreader has no markings on it. I do know the cache on them but there are multiple that have the same cache. Most of them are the 54mb or 60mb versions.

hope they are marked with P4 on the pcb/substrate, P5 is cooper lake.
if they are not D0 stepping you need Gigabyte or ASRock with early BIOS,
supermicro's UP boards support ES only with Test/Debug BIOS 1.0 - not avail. for all boards.
e.g. i have a X12SPM-LN4F with BIOS 1.0 (chip in socket) and can run all kinds of ICX ES.
