maybe they don't have green LED in stock. there is no mention of LED color in the manual.

it could be that we don't have the right connectors.
This scan result is the scan result of I2C1PWR after I turned on the power. Their data seems different from not turning on the power.

Code:

I am very sorry, and I also feel very sad and don't want to disturb your life. Due to helplessness, I hope you can help me check these data again. I changed the position of the yellow and blue lines and scanned them with different results.

Sir, I'm not sure if these data have any reference value. If possible, could you please help me take a look? Thank you very much. Thank you again.

The CPU feels very hot now, I think I should have succeeded. Please help me confirm, sir, that the CPU is no longer as cold and icy as before.

G:\i2chelp\MCP2221a_VRM_mod(16042024)>MCP2221a_iccmax_FF.exe -scan 10 7f

so the pinout is different from 5270M5
5280M5 I2C0_PWR
pin1 = SCL
pin2 = SDA
pin3 = GND
I touched the CPU, and now they are very hot and hot to the touch, which is different from before. This indicates that the motherboard is supplying power to the CPU. There is a high probability of success.
I bought a VAG to HDMI cable, but the previous cable was invalid and my monitor did not respond.
I have placed a new order and purchased a VAG to HDMI cable with USB. I hope the conversion will be successful tomorrow and the monitor will light up.
Sir, thank you very much for your patient guidance. If possible, I would like to treat you to a beer. PAYPAL should be able to receive payment. Please provide your PAYPAL address and have a beer. :cool:

should be normal, before/in BIOS they run all cores at base clock, energy saving is not enabled.

Have an idea. If you can see the keyboard NumLock light up, maybe you can drink your beer early.
Thank you very much for your suggestion. According to your method of testing, the Number and Caps lights on the keyboard will turn off and light up when repeatedly pressed and bounced up :cool:

I wonder if the 8251C CPUs (which have a TDP of 240 Watts) would run in a R640 (which seems to support CPUs with a TDP of 205 Watts in the official documentation) with this mod. Obviously cooling could be an issue, but I'm still curious.

there is no TDP block. only the TDC is blocked. they run with mod if you can cool them.

Glad to hear, I'm pretty sure I can make cooling work so I decided to order two of them. They should arrive on the 8th and I'll head to the DC on the 11th and attempt to get them running in the R640. Will post updates around then!

Hello sir, disturbing you, I bought a brand new Huawei 2288HV5 machine this time due to the fact that I was refunded for whichever used and obsolete motherboard I tested before. Currently I'm in a situation where I can't find an interface with keywords related to I2C or PWR.

I only found "PXE1610CPN G003" power management chip module!

I hope you can point me to the I2C PWR interface. :(

there is NOT such a I2C header on any board.
you can solder to the SMD resistors at the PXE1610C

There are 2 "PXE1610CPN G003" chips in this area. If you suspect that one of the points (i.e. contacts) is an I2C interface, let me know and I'll take a clearer picture for you.
this 2x PXE1610C are th right ones. you have to check if this header connects to the SDA/SCL signals of the VRM controller(eyes&multimeter)

Next I'll ask you how you check the SDA/SCL signals, what stops do I use on the multimeter, and how much voltage do they produce.

The GND block using the on/off gear I would have lined up, after lining up these 4 metal contacts, both sides are GND, they are GND1 and GND2

On these 4 contacts, I can clearly feel that they seem to have a kind of glue covering them. Maybe I need some sort of liquid to clean it up and then use a soldering gun, to solder it, or use insulating glue, to temporarily glue the cable to them.

The community page may not load due to the image being too large, here is the URL to the image:

This is a photo of my multimeter. I don't know what gear to use. Go check if the other two contacts are "SDA/SCL":

I tested both of them using a multimeter and they showed the same unit "KΩ" between 1.718 and 1.720.
