I bought a H12SSL-i motherboard and a epyc 7B13 from parts-cafe.
I was hoping to test it with my old memory, but my memory is 2666mhz.
The motherboard requires 3200mhz memory.

I need one or two sticks of memory. I don't care how many gigabytes they are.
I hope to test the motherboard for a week.
I can pay for shipping both ways, as well as a deposit for the memory itself.

Thanks in advance

--older stuff---
I am in the market for up to 3 xeon e3-12xx v3 or v4 processors.
I currently have e3-1220v3 processors.
I am looking for 4 core 8 thread processors.
This is for supermicro x10 motherboards, so I need processors *without* onboard video.

I am also in the market for ddr3 unbuffered ecc memory for the supermicro x10sll and similar motherboards.
I really prefer that the memory is low voltage, and on the supermicro qualified memory list.

Thanks in advance.

I can pay with paypal or zelle.

I might have some of that, but I assume you're in the US ? Shipping might kill any deals then...

I am in the USA. I updated the title. If you can manage inexpensive shipping, I am interested.

Shipping is probably going to be at least $30, likely more. Not what I'd call inexpensive, sorry.

I have some updates. i got 32gb or ram, but I am still looking for more.
Surely someone has some old ddr3 unbuffered ecc memory that is looking for a new home.

Also if anyone has a LGA 1150 supermicro active cooler, I could use one or two. The OEM intel ones suck.

I have built out one of the motherboards. With the xeon e3-12xx v3 it overhears.
No doubt due to the haswell poor internal thermal paste issue.

I am now in the market for some xeon e3-12xx v4 processors.
They run cooler and don't have the poor internal thermal paste issue.

Also some supermicro 4U active coolers. Part number is in the first post.
Still could use some 4 or 8gb ddr3 unbuffered ecc memory.

That is most unfortunate. At least the v4 processors use a lot less power.

I got the motherboards and processors cheap, but the supermicro 4U active cooler is about $62 each. I am sure they will do a good job. Currently I have 2 intel junk coolers that blow down, and one rosewlll tower cooler with 2 heatpipes that maxes out around 2700 rpm. Under high load the cpu gets up to 95C and then I chicken out and stop the load. It might get higher if I were to keep the load up :-(
A decent motherboard, but a high TDP processor.

Best to delid+LM them.

I have the same board and am using 2600mhz. It’s not a requirement but the max supported. It will happily take slower speeds.
Are you running a milan or rome processor?
I have a milan (last digit 3). Supermicro says it requires 3200mhz memory with the minal.

Rome. I reread the manual and still do not see the requirement. I’d be curious if you could show me? My understanding going back decades is there’s a maximum memory speed but a board will always take a slower speed.

says " Supports up to 2TB Registered ECC DDR4 3200MHz SDRAM"

Plus I called supermicro support, and they told me I needed 3200mhz memory, and my 2666 was not enough.
the motherboard showed a splash screen twice, but not POST.
I can access via IMPI and it shows the 2666mhz modules.

I want to get the mb to POST.

The H12SSL-i absolutely does not require 3200MHz RAM, that is just the maximum supported speed. I'm happily (kinda) running 2133 in mine.

My old H11SSL-i on the supermicro web page says
"DDR4 2666 MHz Registered ECC, 288-pin gold-plated DIMMs
DDR4 3200 MHz Registered ECC, 288-pin gold-plated DIMMs (Board revision 2.x required)"
