Right now i'm planning to catch 2km away for now and extend more once everything is stable.

The posted Ubiquiti gear would work but it's overkill for that distance....they do make smaller/cheaper units for shorter distances.

I've seen a lot of WISPs use their gear over the years, it works, fairly cheap, and readily available.
