Tyan 8030 with EYPC Engineering Samples?

I'm looking build a worksation with Tyan HX S8030 and an EPYC 64 core. Engineering samples are much cheaper and I use them regularly in my SuperMicro servers but cannot find any data on if they will work in the above MB. I'd prefer the Tyan as its PCIe4 vs the PCIe3 for the H11 SuperMicros.
Anyone with experience in using a 2S... in a S8030? any gotchas to watch for?

Works fine with the EPYC 7742 ES 100-000000053-04 on Tyan S8030 S8030GM2NE. Running Ubuntu 20.04 with a mixture of VMs on KVM and a bunch of docker instances. I assume it will probably work on 10GBE S8030GM4NE-2T as well. It was cheaper for me to get the S8030GM2NE on eBay for $283.29 (including shipping and taxes) and add an X550-T2 nic from AliExpress.
