I tried to crossflash the card on a SM H8DG6-f wtith onboard SAS controller, so there are 2 SAS controllers now.
I use index 1 instead of index 0, but followed otherwise IBM ServeRAID M1015 Part 4: Cross flashing to a LSI9211-8i in IT or IR mode.

Now the M1015 is not visible at all and the disks are gone too.
I see that 'megarec -adplist' shows both, but with same PCI device 0x72. One of these had 0x73 i remember.

What can i do to rescue it?

You might be better off only having one adapter installed while flashing. It just limits the possible failure points.

Where one is an onboard, do you have another motherboard you can install it in temporarily? I used an old box for that. It's really old, one of the early pcie boards, but it's good enough for this. I only keep it around for weird crap like flashing cards, or old DOS stuff.
