I did not find field reliability data on this particular model, but similar MG07 series drives have field ARR of 0.81-1.64% (good)

Only a 3 year warranty so these are probably on par with WD's Red product (not Red pro) and Seagate's Ironwolf (not Ironwolf pro).

If appears that either the seller has a different product or made a mistake on the web site. Definitely needs clarification.

Still there -- slightly cheaper even -- and their Amazon store has it for a similar price. Meanwhile, that exact model number doesn't correspond to anything Toshiba sells; though it's possible it's truncated (trailing Y removed) in both listings.

If real it's a CMR drive, very difficult to understand the out-of-step pricing and the fact that it's not selling out if everything is above board. I'm reluctant to bite without knowing the catch.

The Y in toshiba parts is for instant secure erase so this 14tb would only have regular old overwrite.
