In the HPE DL3xx ranges you essentially have 500w,800w,1440/1600w options (1400w gen9, 1600w gen10), of those all 3 options come in platinum but only the 800w comes in titanium.

500w while maybe ok for most systems can be borderline with 2 hungry cpu, decent ram and 15 x 3.5” disks and also other basic config, so simply spec the systems with 800w unless your running GPU then be sure to use the 1400/1600w options.
As always don’t forget the high performance fan kits in anything but basic config (atleast in gen9 the high performance kit used less power than the regular kit so don’t automatically think it will use more)

During the mining craze there was people modifying or kits available to use these PDU’s as just straight 12v supplies, apparently they are really good, and cheap.
