I've noticed a couple of settings in the SuperMicro BIOS which are poorly documented.
Perhaps someone here can shed some light on the functionality of these settings and can advise which option is best for performance in certain workloads.

This feature is not documented in the manual.
I did find some information about Intel Adaptive Page Management, which this feature might refer to.
Everything You Always Wanted to Know About SDRAM (Memory): But Were Afraid to Ask

  • tCCD_L Relaxtion
  • memory tRWSR relaxtion
I understand both these settings affect the memory timings, they can be enabled and disabled. However from the description I can't tell if enabling or disabling them reduces the latency (and thus is better for performance).
