SuperMicro X9SCI-LN4F - ME won't update

We've purchased a few used systems on eBay with SuperMicro X9SCI-LN4F motherboards. It appears that the systems originally were provided to the vendor with BIOS 1.x installed and the vendor attempted to update the BIOS to 2.2 (the latest available). Unfortunately, it appears that the ME did not update, which is causing issues with the motherboards operating properly. We attempted to update the ME again, but it errors out with "Error when sending Enable Message to ME !!"

EDIT: We were able to get the issue resolved working with SuperMicro support.
