Supermicro X12SDV-8C-SPT8F and 116AC10-R860CB-N10 PMBus 1.2 power supply and IPMI not working

Hello folks,

I have trouble with my brand new combination with the X12SDV-8C-SPT8F and 116AC10-R860CB-N10 chassis.
I connected the PH connector cable (5 Pin, 3 pins assigned) to the motherboards and I get no PSU informations in my BMC / IPMI:

chassis and psu components are:

• PDB-PT112-2424 PMBus compliant
• 2x PWS-860P-1R2 PMBus compliant

any thoughts here?

what I already did:

• latest BMC and BIOS
• Cold power off and on

You could try warm reboot the BMC.

I already did this. Unfortunately without any effect.

Given how new the motherboard is, I would open a ticket with Supermicro. They should answer fairly quickly.

Yes, I will do so. Where I can open a Ticket? I have already send an email to support@supermicro.com

Click "support" on their website and go from there? It's fairly straightforward to gain access to their ticketing system.
