Supermicro X10SLV-Q. I cannot, for the life of me locate the SM Bus Controller driver for this board. It's nowhere to be found on Supermicro's site, including the original Driver CD (which is a freaking joke). Does anyone know where I might locate this driver? Google doesn't even seem to know. :(

Did it download with a Windows update by chance? It should be a part of the Intel INF chipset driver.

OS is Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard.

System is fully up to date. Chipset Driver does nothing. This seems to be an oddball board, the manual clearly states that it his both sound and USB 3.0. It has neither. SM website pic shows it without sound yet list sound in the specs. Driver CD doesn't seem to be the correct one for this board.

I have 2 of these. The other one is fully operational and Device Manager is clean. Is there a way to do a driver copy from one to the other?

Try Snappy Driver Installer and see if it's able to detect the controller and download the drivers.

Bring up properties for the SMbus device in question, click the "Details" tab and post the Hardware ID(s) listed.
Is it one of the following:
