Hi all,
last week I bought a new Supermicro SC836 case with the 836TQ backplane. I have got 14 2TB 2,5" SATA disk drives connected to an Adaptec 71605 RAID Controller (RAID 6). With the 836TQ Backplane SATA Power Management does no longer work. It always worked without a backplane but now the System will hang every time the array comes out of power save. The disks will not spin up and I need to reset the OS (Ubuntu 14.04 LTS). The Mainboard is a SM X10SRL-F.
It seems to be connected to the back plane. I already tried to disconnect the sideband cables but that does not make any difference.
Does anybody have an idea here?
Thanks, Marcus
