I know this is the 16-core and this is a deal relative to what it used to go for, but $450 for broadwell just doesn’t feel well bought to me.

for the same money I can get a ton of cascade lake cores. A G4 HP Z4 or Z6 is a lot more compelling to me in nearly every regard except form factor.

for half the money I can get the same 16 broadwell cores in an HP Z440 and I get more memory capacity to boot.

gotta love the z440! dirt cheap on ebay around $90 barebones!!
