Hi all,

I've just purchased 2X Supermicro X10DRi Windows 10 to build two 'old style' workstation 2698-v3/2698-v4 32GB each. I'm happy. BUT the easiest thing, fan control, make me mad. I read about IPMI but I'm too noob to understand and I need a hard CPU's fan profile cause in rendering they have to start in full load as soon as the temperature grow up, immediately or before do that.
So, a short question: are there any software (fan controller) could bypass the IPMI fan control or the only choice I have is bypass with e 5,25" external fan controller?
Thank you for any kind word.

There is a jumper (JPB1) that enables/disables the bmc. You could try to disable it and see if the bios/windows/your favorite software can controll the fans.
