Related to Heatsink for Tyan s7012 inside Supermicro SC826, but creating a new thread to help some help.
Strangely, the red power on button doesn't trigger system to power on, but shorting corrects pins on the MB does it.
It aslo works by shorting correct pins on the backside of the SM front panel adapter board, while having the adapter cable (Supermicro CBL084L Front Panel Connector) connected to the Tyan MB.
Now i was thinking to measure the resistance on those pins on the adapter board while pressing the power button.
Is there any other ways to find out of this issue?
