supermicro power on issues

Related to Heatsink for Tyan s7012 inside Supermicro SC826, but creating a new thread to help some help. Strangely, the red power on button doesn't trigger system to power on, but shorting corrects pins on the MB does it. It aslo works by shorting correct pins on the backside of the SM front...
