    24 NVMe drives I would have thought one would need much higher frequency cpu's to keep up with all that iops potential then again perhaps the NVMe drives improvement in overhead and such doesn't matter

    Realistically it is only 6x NVMe per node. Then limited by a PCIe 3.0 x8 NIC in our test.
