1. If I connect a SuperMicro BPN-SAS2846EL1 backplane to a X10SDV motherboard, what information does the i2c cable provide ? Will I be able to see the drives and their temperatures in IPMI?
2. For TQ and A Backplanes which have more than 1 I2C connectors, how do I connect them to a motherboard which has only 1 connector.

2. I think they are all connected to the ses Chip on the backplane and you can use any one of them.

I ordered a cable along with some other items from Compsource. Will check it out and post once I get it.
