Hi guys,

I'm looking for the cheapest option to add two more NVMe u.2 SSDs to my H11DSi-B motherboard system.
I see I can get the AOC-SLG3-2E4R for like 80 bucks. It does not have PLX chip but my motherboard supports PCIe Bifurcation so I could set my x8 slot to be x4x4.
Will this work?

thank you

I dont like the Retimers, but yeah it should work.
No experience with AMD, but I'd assume they behave similar to intel in that regards

You don't happen to be in Europe? There is one on Ebay...

Its been there for a couple of weeks, so maybe you can negotiate a bit

I ordered the one from eBay, installed yesterday, all I did is set bifurcation to x4x4 and everything worked first try.
Thanks:)

I think you meant redrivers, not retimers, right? (AOC-SLG3-2E4R is a redriver)
