These are usually about 130$ plus tax/ship on top of a 2-4 week drop ship time purchased new.
From the looks of it they are new'ish in box for most of them and discounted heavily if you buy multiples.
I have a bunch of these in my antec twelve hundred and work great for both sas/sata drives via your storage OS of choice.
They also have a best offer so you might be able to get a further discount.

It fried at the fan power connector, the back plane and the fan shroud burned up pretty good. The fan was at fault. I'm lucky that's all the damage it did, the disks, the server, and my house survived.

Just FYI, you can can get these drop shipped from Supermicro via Bottom Line Technologies for $127/ea. But you'll have to wait on SM. It took them several weeks to ship my CSE-M35TQB.

I have 3 SM cages in a Cooler Master CM Stacker 831 Black Case .
This is a really BIG case. No bending of 5.25" mounting tab. SM cage just slide in.

The picture is from Internet. I do not have pictures of my case.

I've got mine in an old Antec P183v2, no bending/cutting required.
I have an old Antec P183 case , I never thought about using the drives cages in the P183 case.

By any chance , you have pictures of your setup?
How many hot swap drives cages it holds?

No comparison, Supermicro cage is so much better.

I started using $38 each Kingwin KF-4001-BK 3.5" Internal Hot Swap Rack RAID- 4 Bay ( SATA only ).
It has a 120MM fan, big and quiet fan.
Kingwin is not bad for the $38 price

As I recall its got 4 x 5.25 bays, so only one unit. I can fit maybe another 5 drives in the box in various locations. It's just a receive target for my main zfs pool on another system, so I don't spend much time fiddling with it. Its on about an hour a day,
