I bought a used 3U Supermicro chassis with an older generation motherboard and eventually upgraded it to a Micro-ATX X11SSH supermicro motherboard, that is much smaller than the previous motherboard.

everything works, the fans and the server boots up, etc, the problem is the 20 pin cable from the front of the chassis doesn't reach the MB to plugin to the MB. I can only turn it on through IPMI which is kind of a pain.

I did a search on amazon for spare SM parts and found a 6" replacement part, but I think I need something a little longer, does anyone have a part # or replacement advice for dealing with this situation?

28" cable is CBL-0335L. I don't know how long the original is, but 28" should be enough to reach almost anywhere.

$19.95 on eBay. SM support might ship one to you for less (maybe even free in some cases).
