Any particular reason why benchmark charts in this article are mostly Intel-only?

Yes. We are doing systems with different CPUs that you can put in the system. The idea is to give readers some sense of if you are on a configurator page, what the different options mean for performance. You cannot put an AMD chip in this system.

Broader comparisons are being done in the individual CPU reviews e.g. https://www.servethehome.com/intel-xeon-gold-6252-benchmarks-and-review/

I am trying to align numbers with what the pieces are trying to help readers evaluate.

Well duh...;)
But you can buy an entirely different system, which might even beat most of the options in this system in a lot of workloads, for an even lower price.
Since the article emphasizes how this system is focused on delivering high CPU performance and memory capacity at a low cost, including other cost-efficient options would have made a lot of sense.
