I've been looking for a 1U Supermicro server that takes E5-2600v4 for a while and the barebones units on ebay have been way too expensive.

I found this listing and thought it could be a good deal for anyone looking for a complete server.

Mine was delivered today and came with:
1U server (pretty sure it is a Supermicro SuperServer 6018U-TR4+)
2 x 750W PSU
All 4 trays
Rails
7 fans
8 x 16GB PC4-2400T
2 x E5-2690v4
Dual 10GbE SFP+ PCIe (full height Silicom PE210G2SPI9-XR)
Single QSFP Mellanox 40GbE PCIe (half height CX353A-FCBT)

@semidetached great server!

This Mellanox card is not only 40GE but also IB 56Gbps.

I would get few unfortunately I'm in EU and seller is not accepting contact messages to find out if he is able to ship and what's the cost of shipping :(

Seller has a couple other similar servers with 2690v4 and ram up for sale. As well as fully loaded Dell Compellent JBODs.

The cpus and ram in these alone was worth more than the full $915 by themselves.

90v4s have jumped to 300 ea and 16gb ram runs about 60 a pop as well.

The chassis + board is worth another 300 on top of that.

Fantastic deal RIP.

Btw, these 1u rails. They are not long enough for the whole server to come out. How can I service the computer while they are on the rails?

It might work with new retail MCP-290-00054-0N.
They do have a second part that attaches to the back of the chassis, however I don't know where it attaches on the SC819 (I only have SC815, but this here is a SC819)
