I have a Sun/Oracle F40 (LSI Nytro WarpDrive) that is in use as a slog device and L2ARC on a ZFS on Linux machine. I've carved out a tiny 16GB off each 100GB SSD in a 4-way mirror for slog, and the rest is striped for L2ARC. I have monitoring of the SMART parameters and noticed today, one by one, (several hours apart) the SSDs on the F40 started showing really large numbers (from 0) for "Offline Uncorrectable":
SMART: CRITICAL - Offline_Uncorrectable=55602646614016
SMART: CRITICAL - Offline_Uncorrectable=264063179292672
SMART: CRITICAL - Offline_Uncorrectable=269973054291968
SMART: CRITICAL - Offline_Uncorrectable=214310278135808
ddcli -c 1 -health says "Overall Health: GOOD"
other than these numbers going from 0 to the above, I haven't noticed any problems. I'm wondering if this is something to be concerned about? Or, should i just stop monitoring this SMART parameter?
