I have a bit of extra cash and picked up a few SSD's that i am planning to put into one of my servers. With that, i was looking for a cage to hold multiple SSD's and make it easy to install and manage.

I have only seen ICY Dock, but thought before i just buy one, would get the feedback from the folks here on this setup or different models.

It will be going in a 3U chassis and my ESXi setup for some local storage to test with.

THanks folks

IcyDock is one manufacturer.
I currently use their 8x2.5" in 5.25" form factor units.

There are others that usually cost less.
Xclio was one I have used before and loved but OOB now???

IStar makes some too i believe.

How many SSDs??

I also have their 8x2.5" unit and it's well made, mostly anodized aluminium not much plastic, has 2 fan speeds available via a switch, and supports dual link sas drives if you have sas.
Recommended!
