Are these a good deal?

I got one a while back for $50 + shipping (from a different seller) mainly just so I could test a server I got... DDR4 is still pricey, so I only got a bit for testing and I'm not actually running that server currently.
These do work in a 2-socket system, but I'm not sure if they make sense when compared to the E5-2630Lv3. More cores and L3, but higher TDP and no turbo. Hopefully the extra QPI links don't waste too much power when unused...
