I hope this isn't too stupid of a post but I'm a bit lost and could use a nudge in the right direction.
I just bought a pair of server that use a X11DPU motherboard and I'm confused about which CPU's can be used in it. For some stupid reason there isn't a published CPU compatibility list or I'm daft and just can't find it. This is what the board says for compatibility on the SM site:
"2nd Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors and Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors, Dual Socket LGA-3647 (Socket P) supported, CPU TDP supports Up to 205W TDP, 2 UPI up to 10.4 GT/s"
Can CPU's that fit within the TDP but have 3 UPI be used in motherboards that only support 2 UPI's? For example, would the Xeon Gold 6138 work in the X11DPU?
Thanks for your time
