Hi there,
I'm in a bit of a bind here, trying to get a small home server put together. It's a SuperMicro
5018A-MHN4, and I'm trying to install an LSI SAS 9266-4i. To hook up the backplane, I've gotten an SFF-8482 to 4x SATA cable, which would work perfectly, if it wasn't for the limited space between the backplane and the fan assembly. The original SATA cables installed have angled connectors on the backplane side, but my cable has straight plugs.
I've been looking online quite a bit, but I can't seem to find an SFF-8482 to SATA cable with angled SATA plugs, or any other adapter solution.
I would very much appreciate any suggestions. If such a cable can be had today in the Boston area, it would be even better!
Thanks,
Stefan
