So I recently aquired a server with the specs listed below. I was told that there was a problem with it and that I should try and fix it. I have no clue what the problem could be. I turn the machine on and get a green light on the motherboard. I have no video whatsoever. Nothing out of the on board vga or the installed nVidia 7300GS. I got a new 8800 in today so I am going to see if it was the card although I highly doubt it.

Ok I find this really Weird but I put the card in it and IT WORKS!!
Can anyone explain why this would be the problem. I tried the machine without the "dead" card installed and used the vga port and did not get anything??
